Chain link
Chain link fencing for yards, pools and commercial lots across Northwest Arkansas.
Galvanized or black, green and brown vinyl-coated, with privacy slats and walk, double and drive gates, built on site.
Chapter 01
What chain link does well
Chain link holds a line without blocking the view. It keeps dogs in, marks a property boundary, wraps a pool or a play area and secures a lot, and it does all of that in a yard where nobody wants a wall. For a lot of Northwest Arkansas homes and businesses it is the right fence, not the fallback one.
The parts that take the abuse are the top rail and the gates. Our repair team sees bent chain link top rails and sagging gates, so those are the places we spend the care on a new install.

Black vinyl-coated chain link fence around a commercial drainage area
Galvanized or coated: choosing the finish
Galvanized chain link is the plain silver-grey fence you see around ballfields and lots. Vinyl-coated chain link comes in black, green and brown, and a dark coating tends to fade into trees, which is why you will find black chain link running through wooded backyards in Bella Vista.
Privacy slats woven into the fabric add screening where you want it. You see them most often on commercial sites, where the owner wants the security of a fence and a sightline that stops at the property line.
Chapter 03
Heights and gates
Residential chain link is typically 4 feet or 5 feet tall. Six feet is more common on commercial jobs. We build it on site, so the run follows the ground instead of leaving a gap where the lot dips.
Gates come as walk gates, double gates, drive gates and commercial access gates. Our written materials standard says all gates should hinge from 6x6 posts on three hinges, with 4-inch screws in place of the 2-inch ones that ship in the gate kits, and a gate that is going to be used every day is where that standard earns its keep.
Pools, permits and what to tell us at the estimate
Chain link can be configured as a pool enclosure where the layout meets barrier requirements. If the fence is for a pool, say so at the estimate so the layout is planned around it from the start rather than adjusted after the posts are in.
Once the job is awarded we handle the permit, check easements and setbacks, and call Arkansas 811 before any digging. The other things worth settling at the estimate are the finish, the height, how many gates you need and how wide, and if you want slats. Every fence we install carries a one-year workmanship warranty, and an old fence that comes out goes to a Class 4 construction landfill, never a burn pile.
